The Indian Polo Awards (TIPA) stands as a tribute to the champions, the visionaries, and the unsung heroes of polo, acknowledging their relentless pursuit of excellence and their dedication to keeping the spirit of this noble sport alive. Through an annual grand ceremony, we bring together the entire Indian polo community to celebrate the achievements of players, teams, patrons, and supporters who continually push the boundaries of the game.
TIPA is a prestigious initiative and flagship intellectual property of La Polo, established in 2021. Born out of a passion to honor and celebrate the polo community, TIPA was created with a vision to recognize the incredible contributions of individuals and teams who have shaped and continue to elevate the sport in India.
Our goal is not only to reward excellence but to eternalize the unbreakable and inspiring spirit of polo, which has stood the test of time. TIPA serves as a platform to commemorate the passion and perseverance that have enabled the sport to thrive for centuries, while also motivating future generations to continue the legacy.
Since its inception, The Indian Polo Awards has become an emblem of prestige, fostering unity and pride within the polo fraternity, and shining a well-deserved spotlight on those who dedicate their lives to the game.
I am completely overwhelmed by the award you have honored me with. I would like to thank LA POLO for such an initiative. Such awards are going to attract more young players and more sponsors in the future of the sports.
It is an honor to receive the award. This night would not have been possible without the effort of Mr. Sethi and Mr. Parekh who came together to recognize the elements of Polo. The groomers, ponies and a lot of it goes behind the game. It is important to recognize them all as well and Mr. Sethi and Mr. Parekh are working towards this at this night.
The USPA greatly commends the efforts of LA POLO and the Indian Polo Fraternity. Through recognizing players and horses for their outstanding contribution to the sport, it helps continue to ignite the passion and fuel competition on a global level.
On behalf of the Italian Polo Community and the Italian Equestrian Federation as the Secretary General, I would like to send my best wishes to LA POLO and the Indian Polo Community for these awards. It has been a challenging year but we look forward to the future and to achieve the dream of bringing polo back to the Olympics as one community.
I appreciate the opportunity to greet all the participants of the polo championship and congratulate the winners. I want to highlight that it is a great honor for me to know that polo brings together such talented people around the world… I really want to wish success and new achievements to all the polo representatives and thank the team of LA POLO and the Indian Polo Fraternity.
It is with great honor on behalf of the Indonesian Polo Association I would like to wish LA POLO and the Indian Polo Fraternity congratulations for their achievements and continuous endeavors…
For many of the players of my generation and the older polo players India has been instrumental and incredible in forming us. How can we forget the great players and teams India has given us… I will never forget meeting the great Maharaja of Jaipur, Maharaja Prem Singh, Maharaja Hanut Singh and KV Singh which was an amazing team! It was truly a sight I will always remember
I would like to send my best wishes to LA POLO for this endeavour. The Indian Polo awards have been instrumental in acknowledging all the facets of the sport and not just the polo players which is a big motivation and encouragement for each individual involved in making the sport what it is today.
Congratulations on hosting such a remarkable event celebrating the noble sport of polo! India holds a significant place in the rich history of this sport, and it is wonderful to see your dedication to preserving and embracing the polo lifestyle and spirit.
Wishing you continued success in keeping this great tradition alive. Greetings from the birthplace of Snow Polo, St. Moritz — where we would be delighted to welcome an Indian Polo Team competing on the snow one day!
Best wishes and warm regards!
